Paramount Ice Welcomes Daniel Erlich as Partner and Head of Hockey Development
Paramount Ice is proud to announce the addition of Daniel Erlich to our team as Partner and Head of Hockey Development. With an outstanding hockey background and a passion for player development, Daniel brings an unmatched level of expertise to our programs. His leadership marks an exciting new chapter for Paramount Ice, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board.
About Daniel Erlich
Daniel Erlich’s hockey journey is nothing short of extraordinary. A standout player in the GTHL with the Toronto Marlboros, Daniel quickly established himself as a dominant force on the ice. His talents earned him a 6th overall draft pick to the USHL and a full scholarship offer to Northeastern University. However, Daniel chose to pursue a career in the OHL, where he spent four seasons with the London Knights, playing alongside NHL stars such as John Tavares, Nazem Kadri, John Carlson, and Michael Del Zotto.
Following his OHL career, Daniel attended Western University, where he earned a degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies. His time on the ice at Western was equally impressive, as he captured the CIS scoring title.
Daniel’s professional career included attending two San Jose Sharks NHL training camps, where he played in seven exhibition games. He went on to compete in European leagues, showcasing his exceptional speed, footwork, puck control, and playmaking abilities in Sweden, Austria, and France. These attributes earned him the respect and admiration of teammates and coaches throughout his career.
Coaching and Development Expertise
Since transitioning from professional hockey, Daniel has devoted himself to coaching and skill development. His experience includes serving as an on-ice skill development specialist and taking on coaching roles as Head Coach of the 2016 Junior Canadiens and Assistant Coach of the 2011 Junior Canadiens.
At Paramount Ice, Daniel will lead the Elite Program and work closely with elite players to refine their skills and elevate their performance. Additionally, he will oversee all Learn and Training Programs, ensuring players of all levels benefit from his expertise and dedication to development.
