Paramount Ice teaches a weekly Learn to Skate class for beginner skaters, ages 2 - 12. This program is co-ed. Skaters work with experienced instructors in a fun and exciting, learning environment. Classes run for an hour.
Skaters will learn the basic techniques and fundamentals of skating from the beginning.
Classes include balance, posture, gliding, and stride. Paramount Ice believes in the foundation of proper skating.
Upon completion of this program, skaters will be well on their way to joining our Learn to Play Hockey and Learn to Figure Skate programs.
Skaters will be grouped based on age and skill level. Skater to instructor ratio 4:1. Co-ed programs. Girls are provided with their own changing rooms.
Get ready to take your first strides on the ice!
CSA Approved Hockey Helmet with Face Shield is required.
