We’re excited to welcome Daniel Erlich to the Paramount Ice team! With an exceptional hockey pedigree and extensive experience on and off the ice, Daniel is set to elevate our hockey programs to new heights.
About Daniel
Daniel’s hockey journey began in the GTHL with the Toronto Marlboros, where he established himself as a standout player. Drafted 6th overall to the USHL and offered a full scholarship to Northeastern University, Daniel ultimately chose the OHL. Over four seasons with the London Knights, he played alongside NHL stars like John Tavares, Nazem Kadri, John Carlson, and Michael Del Zotto.
While excelling in the OHL, Daniel earned a degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies from Western University and claimed the CIS scoring title.
Daniel’s professional career includes attending two San Jose Sharks NHL training camps, playing in seven exhibition games, and competing in European leagues across Sweden, Austria, and France. Renowned for his speed, puck control, and playmaking abilities, Daniel has earned the respect of teammates and coaches throughout his career.
Coaching and Development Expertise
Since retiring from professional hockey, Daniel has dedicated over a decade to coaching and skill development. He has worked as an on-ice skill development specialist and served as Assistant Coach for the 2011 Junior Canadiens.

Daniel leads our ELITE Programs, for AA-AAA players and oversees the LEARN and TRAIN Programs at Paramount Ice. His approach combines personalized training, strong fundamentals, and a focus on helping players reach their full potential.
Whether your child is starting with LEARN to Skate or Play or advancing through TRAIN at the House League/Select/A level, Daniel’s expertise ensures a program that prioritizes growth, teamwork, and skill development for all levels.
